Lyrics to the upcoming record!
Coming through this cave,
Thought it was my grave but,
Then something lit it,
Now I can never forget it.

Washed up, High as hell,
Thought my addiction was myself but,
Then I started to kick it,
Became the one against it.

I refuse to wear the colors of force....
Hey Friends,

Recording in the studio is going really well. Here is some lyrics from the record. You're going to have to get your hands on the record when it comes out next year to get the rest of the story! ;)

I hear the battles raging on in the north,
My kids are fighting on both sides,
It ain't even our war anymore,
And I refuse to wear the colors of force.

Love, Peace, and Harmony,
-Nick

Lyrics

Here's some lyrics from my upcoming record! Look for a the single at the end of the year..and perhaps a release at the begining of next year! You'll have to hear the song to finish the story.

I was born in the dam of the land,
Raised on the grain of a religious brand,
I could have been anything but I chose to be a soilger,
They sent me to the Middle East with a flag upon my shoulder...

Hey Friends,

As Eminem says; “Hey yo, Before I start this song man, I’d like just want to thank everyone for being so patient, and baring with me these last few years, while I figured this shit out.”

That’s exactly how I feel about you all. I’ve been doing some real soul searching lately, and haven’t had the strength to keep in touch with you all, and play many gigs. The good news is, I’m in “recovery”, and am getting back to it.

I’m in the studio with some old and new friends, and I’m really proud of the product we’re making. Some of the musicians playing on the record are old band mates that I’ve had from over the years. The line up includes Brent Bond on sax, Kevin Donohue on guitar, and Shawn Crowder on drums.

I’m hoping to get some songs out to the public later this year, and have either an EP, or and LP out in the beginning of next year! That’s when I’ll really start playing shows again.

“Damn. Feel like I just woke up or something. I guess I just forgot who the fuck I was, man. And anyone who thought of going there, It’s nothing personal. Just some shit that I was going through. To everyone else, I’M BACK.” –Eminem

Love, Peace, and  Harmony,
-Nick

Guitarist
We've hired a bass man! Details later. We are now looking for a good, Mike Campell minded (not particularly stylistically) lead guitarist. The new band will be known as Nick O'Connor & The Mad Ones. The mad ones is based on an exert from Jack Kerouac's book, "On the Road".

"The only people for me are the mad ones. The ones who are mad to love, mad to talk, mad to be saved; the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow Roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars."
